SCHOLASTIC BUSINESS SCHOOL BOOK FAIR
We started our day by visiting the amazing Bantock house. Once there, Helen Steatham; their lovely curator, told us a little about the house and then gave us some ideas in how to organise events, care for the public, get press coverage and create appealing events.
She was a terrific host, really patient and explained everything in a way we could understand. Thank you Helen!
We then visited the City Council's finance department at the Civic Centre where the finance manager Darren Herries, explained to our financial team how to plan a budget and stick to it. He also taught them how to control spending and how to prioritise their expenses. At the end he presented our Finance Managers with a certificate of training by the Wolverhampton CC. Thank you so much Darren!
